As a member of staff for Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS), you will technically contribute to FIDS client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be actively establishing internal and external relationships. You will identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements. Similarly, you will anticipate and identify risks, and inform senior members of the team about issues as appropriate. You will determine that client deliverables is of high quality and that the next-level reviewer reviews these deliverables.

The opportunity

We have a growing list of projects and clients in Iran, requiring specialized support on the ground in an advisory capacity. The role will be based in Dubai with regular travel to Tehran.

Your key responsibilities

You will participate in FIDS engagements in Tehran while being based in Dubai. This will require up to 75% travel on an annual basis. The main function of this role is to advise our clients based on their needs while working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress. IN addition you will participate and assist in preparing for meetings with target management teams and assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties. Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel will be essential as will building strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other service lines.

Contributing to people initiatives including recruiting and retaining FIDS professionals will be on going agenda, alongside maintaining an educational program to continually develop personal skills and understanding and following workplace policies and procedures

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 3- years of post-qualification experience

  • Fluent English and Persian/ Farsi communication skills

  • Experience in business development and network of legal contacts

  • Client facing and management experience

  • Experience simultaneously handling diverse and pressing assignments and sensitive and adversarial situations

  • Skills in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint

Ideally you’ll also have

  • A master's degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major

  • Track record with a leading consulting firm

  • Experience in Iranian market
