EY’s Company Secretary (CoSec) team are looking grow to support their increasing workload. This is a great opportunity to join a global professional services firm to work with a variety of clients on exciting projects. EY will support you career & help you grow & gain qualifications such as the ICSA.
This is a new role that is being created as part of the growth of the Corporate Secretarial Support Services (CSS).
Our CoSec services team, which complements the work of our GCR team, provides a much needed solution to help clients manage the increasing issues they face in fulfilling their global Corporate Secretarial compliance and reporting requirements.
Our core team in London acts as a single point of contact between the client and the EY global network for all CoSec services.
Your key responsibilities
Being the UK Technical point person for all Corporate Secretarial matters and Know-How
Preparing all documentation regarding client board meetings
Setting of Board calendars and establishing Board room best practice for UK IPO clients
Advising clients on UK Compliance developments and Board room best practice
Attending of Board meetings
Preparing Board minutes & LSE announcements
UK Corporate Governance Code reviews
UK Corporate Secretarial restructuring projects
Drafting and amending changes to Articles of Association and Committee Terms of Reference
The provision of insight and advice in relation to subsidiary management trends and corporate governance best practices.

To qualify for the role you must have
To be ICSA qualified or aspirations to work towards it
An interest in company secretarial role & what it entails
Good understanding of UK corporate governance
Ideally, you’ll also have
1-3 years in a similar role
