A new team, led by the Global Alliances Tax Leader requires an individual with a proactive attitude, focusing on, key achievements and a plan of how to achieve against tight deadlines. Explore the market and understand the Alliance process within EY, manage client relationships internally with global Alliance teams, Execute business cases and relationships with third parties, Manage existing relationships and build new relationships. The Opportunity:

You will provide support the Global Tax Alliances team, working closely with the Global Tax teams, Business Development teams and Market Operations to drive and monitor alliance framework and process management and helping to implement the sales strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring management information is produced accurately and to tight timescales with insight and commentaries to support leadership in making decisions. A good commercial awareness and ability to produce, analyse, and interpret data and reports, is essential, as is a strong understanding of good sales management and processes.

Qualifications:

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Alliance sales and revenue forecasting process, monitoring trends and providing insightful commentary to help Tax and the Markets teams track performance of sales, revenue, margin and other key metrics

  • Work with sector teams to pro-actively manage pipeline accuracy through maintenance of accurate data in InterAction

  • Work with sector leadership to strategically contribute to development of client and sector strategy, and account plans

  • Drive efficiencies across the sales process with specific focus on the strategic opportunity management processes

  • Present Market Ops session to new joiners at the Tax induction, continuing to support the new joiners to embed best practice into Alliance process management

  • Support production of Alliance contracts through sharing of best practice and knowledge management

  • Create central SharePoint site for archiving Alliance contract materials

  • Create Governance and Critical path stakeholder mapping for Tax Alliances

  • Research with Global Tax Leadership opportunities for Alliances, building new networks cross service line

  • Relationship management

  • Communication management

  • Project support

To Qualify for the role you must have:

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Strong computer skills including basic business software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint), Outlook and Internet

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel

  • Confident with the ability to use own judgment and make decisions in order to prioritise, challenge, negotiate and influence.

  • Knowledge of time zones and best means of travel between multinational locations.

  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • The confidence to engage with senior/high profile contacts and clients and their teams.

  • Attention to detail and ownership for the delivery of high quality work.

  • Ability to build relationships across diverse teams both locally and globally.

  • Ability to work as part of a team, ensuring seamless service to the firm and clients.
