Our clients are overwhelmingly turning to EY for help and guidance on how to protect their assets, minimise business disruption and improve security as they continue to exploit technology and the Internet of things (IoT).
That’s why at EY we have ambitious plans to expand our already market leading Cybersecurity practice. With investment secured, we continue to build our EMEIA based cyber advisory practice (EAC) and anticipate continued growth throughout the next five years. We need excellent people, at senior grades, to join us and to be part of our exciting growth strategy .
Role and Responsibilities
To be a Senior Manager in our EAC Cybersecurity practice you will already be an experienced and qualified security practitioner. You will lead cyber security centre assessments and manage teams to deliver security centre operation strategy and transformation programmes. You will maintain relationships with senior EY, Client and Vendor
You will have responsibility for;
Leading a portfolio of Managed cyber solutions, in particular focus on the EMEIA Cyber centers and sales of Managed Services with our regions and clients, working collaboratively with the EMEIA cyber centres and regions you should be able to lead, direct, develop services offerings within the complex mutli regional EY Firms.
Managing the development of Cyber centre solutions including the development of EMEIA Cyber as a Service (CaaS) offerings , bid response documents, sales kits, client briefings, client reports and ensuring the highest quality deliverables prior to Partner and solution leader review.
Contributing to developing the market for Cyber Security services across all EMEIA sectors and identify sales opportunities, leading specific Cyber solutions for example Managed Security Operation Centre’s, MSOC Transformation programmes, MSOC assessments, MSOC delivery and MSOC operations. You should have an understanding of how these services operate across the EY EMEIA region
Building client relationships with senior stakeholders across the EAC, Specific sectors and global services
Working with prospective sectors, solution leaders and account teams and their clients to identify MSOC solution opportunities, create campaigns, scope engagements support as required the sales process including assisting with the creation of high quality proposals
Where required delivering and managing MSOC engagements including the liaison with EMEIA Cyber vendors (i.e Symantec, Qualys, Pathscan etc).
Contributing to the development of the EAC cyber team and to the wider Cyber community acting as mentor and coach to the junior members of the team and sector teams leading by example, including coaching and mentoring of EMEIA cyber centre personell.
Building multiple Security Information Event Management Systems (SIEM) I support of EMEIA wide clients.
Experience and Background
Prior experience at senior manager level in information and cyber security Managed Security operations services is required as a minimum to apply for this role. A Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is an essential criteria for this role.
It is also essential for candidates to demonstrate a sales / business development track record, based on the ability to develop sincere client relationships at a senior level with our existing and target client base.
A broad background across security is expected with specific experience in 5 or more of the following areas essential:
Security operations centre strategy, assessment, designing and implementing security operations centre strategy, governance frameworks over processes, controls, organisation and infrastructure to management cyber security
Security transformation programmes
Breach and incident management
Security policies and procedures
SOC – Industry experience of setting up, developing and implementing a commercial Security Operations Centre
Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
Cyber Threat Management
Vulnerability Management - experience designing, implementing, and managing Vulnerability Management frameworks and programmes
Experience in multiple Security Information Event Management Systems (SIEM)
Strong academic record, to degree level or equivalent industry experience
Security relation qualification such as CISSP, CISM, CISMP, CISA, ISSMP, ISO27001 lead implementer or auditor, MBCI, IAPP (One or more is essential)
Since this is an EMEIA role the candidate must be prepared to travel for both sales and delivery requirements.
