People Advisory Services (PAS) harnesses the collective power of our Human Capital and People & Organisational Change practices into a new, integrated sub-service line. With an enhanced set of joint people capabilities, we will provide our clients with an effective and efficient set of integrated services and offerings solving their most pertinent people-related business challenges.

We enable business performance through Workforce Planning and Optimisation, Human Capital analytics, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), Leadership and Workforce Capability and Culture.

The opportunity

The D&I team is considerably growing to meet increased client demand but also to expand their offerings to that include D&I training, analytics and strategic consultancy. They are now seeking a Senior Manager to help grow their D&I business and actively contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.

In this pivotal role, you will be part of the PAS Talent team focused on developing business within D&I. You will be responsible for deploying the go-to-market strategy, leading client engagements and coaching team members to deliver exceptional client service.

Your key responsibilities

  • To successfully sell, design and deliver D&I programmes in a broad range of industry sectors

  • Grow the D&I business – actively contributes to the ongoing development of the practice and assumes operational responsibility and accountability for assignments and delivery teams.

  • Leads client relationships, business development and account management activity in PAS.

  • Grow EY’s D&I's market profile by developing a differentiated offering built on thought leadership and best practice

  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit efforts by leading the preparing of proposals and delivering presentations to potential clients

  • Partner with a select group of external suppliers, academics and C-suite executives to ensure we continue to build and develop a best in class approach

  • Communications - responsible for representing the PAS practice in relevant management forums and supporting the rapid, profitable growth of the business Generating profitable revenue - developing lasting relationships with clients, through business development and account management leadership

  • Must be able to anticipate and assimilate client requirements, win their trust and build enduring relationships to develop their business.

  • Bring current and relevant insight to clients

  • Will identify and solve clients problems in embedding D&I in their DNA

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Demonstrable drive to help clients achieve improved D&I outcomes

  • Strong market focus with an existing client base and strong client networks

  • Ability to design and deliver D&I programmes that make a lasting impact and leave a positive legacy with our clients

  • Strong grasp of talent management practice

  • Be market-facing and be able to generate leads rapidly

  • Must be able to secure and develop upsell, cross-sell and on-sell opportunities

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A credible and impressive grasp on advising external clients on their D&I agenda

  • A track record of winning new business and developing client relationship

  • Demonstrable technical competence in the design and delivery of D&I programmes

  • An understanding of national legislation and emerging trends influencing the D&I agenda in the public and private sector

  • A practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

  • Be able to analyse and communicate people trends and themes and their relationship to broader business strategy
