The opportunity

The Financial Services Digital practice works with clients to analyze, formulate, design, mobilize and drive strategic transformation initiatives. We also have the unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design and transformation planning and mobilization. Your Key Responsibilities

We are currently seeking Visual Design Leads who are talented, driven people with a passion for creating beautiful, innovative work and a commitment to growing and nurturing team talent. Visual Design Leads are deeply involved with projects or elements of multiple client engagements throughout the life cycle, from ideation to presenting creative work, while ensuring quality and consistently meeting timelines.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science or a related field

  • A minimum of five years of post-Bachelor’s work experience (or four years for a Master’s degree); three years of relevant work experience at a design agency or financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering digital advisory services

  • Strong creative thinking and routinely develop surprising, unique and cool concepts that excite clients

  • A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces and navigation

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with Art Directors and mentor other Designers as well as the confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly

  • An understanding of the creative life cycle from creative ideation to visual specifications development and technology handoff

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience as a problem solver and ability to look at different platforms, visual styles and competing business and technology needs and balance them all to achieve the best possible design solution

  • Experience working on multiple Financial Services design engagements such as platform design, desktop application design, mobile app design and an understanding of how to balance creative vision with technology and business constraints to achieve the best possible design
