Core Business Services - Assurance L & D Technical Senior Consultant
12 month fixed term contract

Working with the Talent Team, you’ll help develop and execute our people strategy, which provides the programs, measures and tools that help our EY member firms' employees achieve their goals. You might develop and implement strategies for performance management, leadership development, learning, training tools, compensation, recruiting, new joiner orientation, reporting processes or other initiatives.
The Assurance L&D Program Manager assists with implementing core learning interventions that meet the needs of the business in terms of skills development, staff retention, growth of the business and risk minimisation. You will achieve this through managing the development and deployment of certain technical components of the Oceania Assurance Learning Map in line with Asia Pac and Global priorities and EYU principles.
You will liaise directly with key stakeholders such as the Oceania L&D Steering Committee, other Assurance partners and specialist groups to determine learning needs and deploy learning solutions in line with Asia Pac and Global Assurance expectations.
Your key responsibilities
Lead the successful deployment of the technical curriculum for staff and seniors and specialist groups
Manage key stakeholder relationships
Project manage a significant learning technical course portfolio
Lead and support the Facilitator pool for relevant courses
Lead and support the Assurance L&D coordinator team
Facilitate on technical courses
Facilitate on various firm wide courses
Skills and attributes for success
Detailed up-to-date knowledge of GAM and Australian Accounting Standards
Strong communication (written and oral) skills
Ability to build, develop and positively influence internal client relationships across BU’s and teams
Strong project and time management skills and the ability to implement organisational frameworks as required. In addition, the ability to plan and deliver work in line with cost and time constraints
Flexibility and adaptability in terms of dealing with evolving outcomes, timelines, dependencies and stakeholders
Maintaining a team focus and demonstrating effective team behaviours
Ideally, you’ll also have
The ability to build positive relationships with internal professionals and client personnel by demonstrating integrity and genuineness.
The skills to develop a diverse network of relationships with others that entail mutual sharing of ideas, knowledge, and resources (including contacts at higher organizational levels and a client network at a peer level).
The teamwork skills to be able to adapt approaches to others based on differences in individual style and backgrounds.
