The opportunity

The team continues to grow and we are now searching for a co-ordinator to join Law at EY in Sydney. In this role, your focus will be on two broad categories: supervision of regulatory compliance and broader practice management. With components of the role related specifically to Law in Sydney and other responsibilities Australia-wide, the key to success in this position will be having excellent organisational skills as well as a “can do” attitude and ability to build strong relationships.

Your key responsibilities

You will assist with regulatory compliance for EY lawyers across Australia, from developing relationships with key stakeholders within each State’s law society and acting as the Australian Law liaison, to ensuring EY Lawyers are up to date with both their individual State’s compliance and annual requirements of Continuing Professional Development.

From a practice management perspective, you will assist Law staff with a range of tasks: preparation of engagement letters and documentation, researching potential clients, managing billings and other administrative tasks. You will also assist staff with pitches and other activity to grow the brand and revenues of Law by co-ordinating Law staff, internal marketing teams and EY Partners. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (Law and Tax Leaders, Operations Manager and EA’s across Australia) to ensure continuity of administrative practices nationwide.
