The opportunity

The Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team is in a substantial growth phase, and as a result we are looking for Senior Consultants to join our successful and growing team. As part of our FSRM team, you’ll focus on client opportunities where your expertise can make a substantial impact. You’ll build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities, through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues.

This role should appeal to professionals with a background in financial services, risk management & compliance, internal and/or external audit, who want to deepen or broaden their experience and have greater challenges in the work they perform.

Wide breadth of services of FSRM

  • Advising the largest financial institutions on a range of prudential and supervisory issues.

  • Conduct risk management advice and framework design and operational effectiveness.

  • Risk culture assessment and change programs.

  • Regulation and compliance advisory.

  • Credit Risk, Market Risk, Insurance Risk, Prudential.

  • Specialist risk support for delivery of advisory, internal and external audit services.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 4 years’ experience in the financial industry or in financial services consulting

  • Ideally experience working in a Risk Management function at a financial institution (e.g. Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk) or Regulatory Reporting function at a financial institution.

  • Generalist business consultancy experience.

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills (written and verbal), lots of energy and drive.

  • Graduate degree in finance, law, or commerce preferred. Post-graduate qualifications in commerce or risk management viewed favourably.

  • Professional/technical qualifications in risk management viewed favourably.
