This position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the firm sector programs and Central Market Segment go-to-market initiatives, working closely with the sector team, Assistant Director and Associate Directors.

  1. Play a key role on the National and Central sector team by owning responsibility for a number of sectors, either nationally or centrally. Own and execute on responsibilities such as:

  2. Maintain an understanding of the sector’s specific go-to-market goals/objectives/plans

  3. Create (by thinking strategically and collaboratively gathering input) a BMC plan based on key business objectives identified by sector leader(s)

  4. Lead execution on the BMC plans for designated sectors

  5. Regularly convene the functional stakeholders from BMC to share ideas, input, get feedback, gather updates, etc.

  6. Track progress against the plan and find the right channel and frequency to report back to the National Sector leader or team

  7. Share insights, learnings, best practices, etc. back to the BMC team in bi-weekly sector calls

  8. With the help of the Assistant Director and peers, assess, form recommendations and build execution plans for sector sponsorships

  9. Lead and execute key industry and buyer programs events – most notably the Central Market Segment industry events for the designated sectors. This would include leading regular team meetings, managing the project plan, following up on to-dos, supporting speaker asks, drafting panel prep documents, overseeing event production and working with the broader BMC team to create talking points, build session content, create branded materials, executive briefings and more

  10. Work closely with the Assistant Director to support the Markets Leaders’ National Sector plan and help build and execute on the national sector program plan.

  11. Share knowledge and best practices; actively engage with other marketing team members to develop more innovative go-to-market initiatives and continuously improve existing programs.

  12. Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders; Manage project stakeholder expectations; Work with the Assistant Director to communicate and help mitigate difficult issues and work to establish consensus.

  13. Support the Assistant Director by helping build agendas and meeting materials for National or Central Market Segment meetings.

  14. Additional Central Market Segment support may be required, such as gathering updates from the team, supporting special request from the Market Segment Leader (e.g. leading and executing small events, meetings or sponsorships).
