We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Manager in our IT Advisory Services group. The individual will work directly with clients to transform their business challenges leveraging analytics solutions. The goal is to support our clients' efforts to make their business units more effective and efficient and, where required, provide services in connection with the development and implementation of data and analytics solutions. We use Big Data Analytics to drive our clients’ Grow, Optimize and Protect agenda. Our experience is also important to the analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with enterprise-wide big data architecture, analytics solutions and environments, and vendor selection decisions that support cross line of business of our clients.
The Big Data & Analytics Architect links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its business and IT strategies, and documents this using multiple data and analytics frameworks or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.
Participate in PI Advisory engagements
Align big data analytics strategy with company's business goals.
Work with Manager(s) and Sr. Manager(s) to arrive at enterprise-wide data solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other services across the organization
Experience with big data and analytics strategy, solution and enterprise data service-oriented architecture
Big Data domains – business, data, analytics, application, operating model & infrastructure
Minimum 8 years’ experience
Open Group Certified Architect (I, II or II)
Cloud Application and Infrastructure Experience
Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)
Digital transformation knowledge and experience
Knowledge of the business for which the big data analytics architecture is being developed
Interpersonal and leadership skills - servant leadership , collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
Communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
Knowledge of IT governance and operations
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
Project and program management planning and organizational skills
Knowledge of financial modeling as it pertains to IT investment
Customer service orientation
Ability to deal with abstract concepts and communicate these effectively through compelling written and graphical materials
Strong history of experience in dealing with executives and board level communications
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel
A bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience;
A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, conversion and testing
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-80%.
