About the opportunity
Our Infrastructure Advisory Practice is going through an exciting period of growth. We are looking for a Senior Transport Economist to join our Economics, Regulation & Policy team (as a Senior Manager) to play a leading role in the growth of our Brisbane practice, and the delivery of a number of current high profile engagements across the transport sector.

In your role as a Senior Transport Economist you will deliver solutions across the life-cycle of public and private infrastructure including:
Economic assessments and modelling, including cost-benefit analysis and economic impact analysis.
Public policy planning, strategy development and delivery.
Scoping and feasibility studies, and the development of major project business cases supporting investment decisions, primarily in the transport sector, but also related to urban renewal initiatives, health and human services, and the energy and resources sectors.
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
Experience in client facing roles, with excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.
Experience managing teams in the scoping and production of deliverables for clients, such as models and reports.
Experiencing reviewing and managing economic models.
Ability to define and solve problems, research issues and potential solutions, and provide advice on policy, program guidelines, market trends and industry practices.
Economics, public policy or other relevant qualifications (or equivalent work experience) combined with analytical experience gained from working in corporate and/or government sectors with a focus most likely on transport infrastructure and services, and project and land use economics.
Experience in economic analysis, economic impact studies, econometrics, cost-benefit analysis, and/or economic policy and possibly regulatory analysis.
Economics, public policy or other relevant qualifications (or equivalent work experience) combined with analytical experience gained from working in corporate and/or government sectors with a focus on transport infrastructure and services, and urban economics.
