Ernst & Young's Saskatoon Office is currently seeking a Tax Technician to join our growing Agricultural Team . We are looking for people with Agricultural backgrounds who are familiar with farm programs (AgriStability, AgriInvest, Crop Insurance, Global Ag risk Solutions).
Preparation of AgriInvest/AgriStability Applications
Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
Prepare financial statements
Provide clients with quality, timely and responsive services and work products
Data entry and general book-keeping
To qualify, candidates must have:
experience with agriculture programs
experience with AgExpert is an asset
proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
excellent organization skills and attention to detail
good communication skills
a commitment to learning and using our technology and processes
the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and high volume environment with keen attention to client needs
the ability to be proactive, use own initiative, and work independently, as well as part of the team
the ability to demonstrate sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters
the flexibility to work additional hours
