Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax, and Valuation and Business Modelling.
Within EY’s Transaction Advisory Services, the Business Modelling group has rapid growth plans and requires a Management Consultant to join our leading edge team. As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage, deliver and review a wide range of modelling engagements including acquisitions & divestitures, strategic planning, options analysis and business case development.
Your key responsibilities
In your role as Manager you'll:
Have a primary focus on our decision support and business modelling services
Manage cross functional client engagement teams developing and reviewing financial models for a blue chip portfolio of clients
Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and colleagues
Build the existing business through internal and external Business Development
Skills and attributes for success:
Strong financial modelling skills with a proven ability to create robust and flexible financial models based on the client’s financial and operational information
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with a focus on building internal and external networks
To qualify for the role you must have:
Ability to manage engagement teams to ensure the completion of work deliverables
Prior experience in a financial modelling role is required
Additional experience in any of the following preferred: MS Access; SQL Server; VBA; Data Visualization applications (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, IT and/or similar disciplines
Ideally you'll also have:
Post graduate qualifications – CFA, CA, CPA, preferred.
