Technology is a global organization that works with our internal clients, to

provide IT support and solution to client teams, internal support functions and

global projects and programs. Over the next few years, GDS Poland will increase

the number of IT professionals in its center to develop and support EY’s

business and internal applications. These professionals include IT project

managers, business analysts, software architects, infrastructure engineers.


Technology team maintains and enhances EY’s IT infrastructure and works for our

internal clients across the globe. You will work with EY locations, supporting

our service lines and key business processes or be part a dedicated IT team

handling cross-organizational initiatives and transformational projects.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assists with the deployment ofhardware and software to end users (including the installation, configurationand testing of more complex firm hardware)

  • Assists with provisioning anddeprovisioning processing, including setting up of hardware/software for newhires, and receiving hardware from separating employees

  • Assists with (or coordinates) therepair of end user hardware and the reinstallation of software as necessary toresolve end user incidents

  • Resolves incidents associated withfirm-standard end user software and hardware, including mobile/hand-heldtechnologies Identify sources and trends of technical problems to preventfuture occurrences

  • Under minimal supervision, providesafter-hours service for escalated issues from the Service Desk or supervisor

  • Performs asset management activities(procurement, receipt, inventory, tracking, distribution, etc) in accordancewith firm policy and IT Service process

  • Assists with off-site support for firmsponsored functions/meetings

  • Performs asset managementresponsibilities as assigned by supervisor

  • Assists with IT tasks related tooffice moves, buildouts and relocations

  • Operates as “remote hands” for otherIT functions, such as Telecommunications and Hosting

  • Maintains a thorough understanding ofIT Services’ organization and service offerings in order to identify how bestto address end user technology needs and incidents


To qualify for the role you musthave

  • Degree at universitylevel

  • Englishlanguage skills - excellent written and verbal communication

  • Experience inend user technology support

  • Experiencewith Windows 7, Windows 10

  • Experiencewith hardwarware (laptops parts replacement, local phones support)

  • Strong analytical skills are requiredto address end-user incidents escalated from the service desk or offered by enduser on walk-up issues

  • Abilityto prioritize incidents being worked on and communicate those priorities to endusers as necessary

  • Excellent communication,interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

  • Excellent customer service attitude

  • Ability to work effectively with alllevels of end users and IT stuff
