The opportunity

The Knowledge Manager’s mission is building collaborative relationships

with senior stakeholders in the domain of Life Sciences. Depending on specific

business needs, you will be co-developing communities and content strategy,

manage and deliver domain-specific strategic initiatives and execute

domain-specific knowledge awareness and adoption activities, as well as promote

knowledge capturing and sharing. You will be very visible within the global

stakeholder net, bringing a major added value to the EY Knowledge service line

goals.

Your key responsibilities

The main focus of your role would be promoting and facilitating

information sharing within the company, to enable EY practitioners to win in

the marketplace and deliver services. You will also co-create and curate

different types of content and transfer experiential knowledge, as well as

facilitate the community of sub-domain specialists. You will be also asked to

address complex business problems impacting the business and contribute towards

innovative ideas around knowledge management solutions. You will be also

coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.

  • You will be proposingrelevant and commercially insightful knowledge initiatives and designingsolutions to the domain leadership, basing on you deep understanding of thebusiness agenda and emerging needs of practicioners

  • Thanks to yourproficient skills in building effective relationships, you will be able tocreate a network of relationships in the sub-domain across different ranks andcountries

  • You will alsosupport implementation of the domain’s knowledge infrastructure, using firmstandard architecture and technologies, to develop home sites and communitiesthat align broader context of business priorities with content strategy

  • Building aknowledge sharing culture would acquire from you driving knowledge awarenessand adoption activities

  • You will beapplying firm web publishing templates and standards to production-readycontent, and use of global process and systems that comprise the firm's contentmanagement infrastructure

  • Your technical skills shall include:enhancing content copy, publishing web pages and documents, selecting andoptimizing graphics/imagery as relevant, content migration, sanitization ofshareable knowledge assets, content quality review, compliance with webtemplates, and EY visual brand identity and site standards

To qualify for the role youmust have

  • 7-10 years ofexperience in the area of knowledge management

  • Experience with key knowledgemanagement concepts, tools and techniques (e.g. community facilitation, afteraction reviews) and or comparable experience

  • Professionalservice industry experience or client-serving experience

  • Bachelor’s/University degree,preferably in business

  • Proficiency inEnglish language

  • Strong projectmanagement skills and experience in leading complex programs and projects toachieve milestones and objectives

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • LifeSciences domain expertise (treated as an asset)

  • Demonstratedunderstanding and relevant experience in the assigned knowledge domainRobust understanding of knowledge management approaches and theirapplication, paired with the ability to articulate the value they bring tothe business and drive buy-in and sponsorship from the business

  • Goodunderstanding of knowledge infrastructure and relevant domain-specifictechnology solutions to facilitate stakeholder discussions and identifyexpert resources to bring to discussions when needed

  • Consultativemindset and integrated teaming approach to service delivery
