Your key responsibilities
You’ll work alongside clients and colleagues, supporting a great number of opportunities and add more value during the pursuit process by assisting with a number of defined activities. To make that happen, you are likely to spend your time trying to understand the client’s needs and developing winning communication strategies that showcase EY’s credentials and creating compelling “Why EY” messages. Pursuits and proposals
Realizes projects for the Pursuit Team throughout the proposal, e.g., kick-off document, teambook realization, CV collection, data input, editing, collecting fee information and review of client presentations and proposals
Project management of pursuits at all the stages of the lifecycle of a pursuit such as qualify, response, etc.
Liaises with other members of the team such as in Creative Services and Business Support members and be the single point of offshore contact for the pursuit.
Demonstrates a connectedness with and understanding of other teams in order to bring solutions in cases of out of scope requests
Assist our teams across areas to present our firm to gain new business.
Provide support to update the contents of our pursuits portal including generic proposals, service line presentations and workbooks based on input from the Pursuit Team
Help update client presentations and proposals with content from research and input from our teams
Interact effectively and maintain good rapport among a diverse group of team members, customers and colleagues, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills including telephone and e-mail support
Interact directly with the clients to capture first level requirements for the projects received through the work flow management tool, if required and create work requests in the tool. Also, handle and process work requests coming from any other source (e-mail).
Effectively handle routine tasks including follow-up and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, communicating the concerns to Pursuit Support leadership as and when required.
Responsible for invoicing, maintaining billing records, auditing work requests in work flow tool for billing, and producing routine and custom reports.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines which are essential for a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills (written and oral)
Education: International Business/ Marketing or related
Experience: Approximately 2 years of related experience in pursuits and proposal responses. Should have established people management skills.
Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skill in English and German are essential as the role requires direct communication with international team members and clients.
Tools: Well versed in using MS Office
