The opportunity

EY is looking for Manager / Senior Manager for IT Advisory to

lead the team in the execution of clients’ assignments in the areas of:

  • Informationmanagement and business intelligence

  • ITstrategy, architecture and solution design (including package solutions)

  • IToperational effectiveness and business case development

  • Programand project management

  • ITArchitecture

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the team on clientengagements to improve a broad range of business processes. Drawing on ourlocal and global networks, you’ll learn to adapt proven IT methods andpractices to fit different operational and cultural needs, in differentindustries. Your knowledge, experience and skills will help to shape ourservices. With access to talented leaders, formal learning and a wide varietyof practical experience, you’ll receive all the support you need to succeed

  • You will work with ourclients to assess and transform their enterprise technology architecture; andto work as the architecture lead on large scale/complex IT transformationprogrammes. The enterprise technology architecture includes architectural viewson applications, integration, data, security, operations and development

  • You’ll lead the team onclient engagements to assist with their complex technology-relatedtransformation programs right across the enterprise. You and your team willwork with other Performance Improvement Competencies across the businessfunctions such as Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Advisory to deliver high valueenterprise-wide Transformation Services. You will also work with SeniorLeadership in both the client organisation and EY, facilitating decision makingto achieve the project goals and milestones which includes improving thealignment of IT with business strategy to deliver greater value

  • Demonstrate in-depthtechnical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability toassimilate new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on newdevelopments in advisory services capabilities

  • Understand EY and itsservice lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop andmaintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationshipswith team members across all EY practices to serve client needs

To qualify for therole, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree incomputer science, information systems, engineering, accounting, finance or arelated field

  • Approximately 5 years for Manager / 8 years for Senior Manager of recent relevant work experience intechnology initiatives management or implementation, preferably in a businessconsulting role with a leading management consultancy organization

  • Ability to translatecomplex client requirements and goals, and to reflect this in a solutionarchitecture, that is understandable by clients irrespective of their level ofseniority

  • Strong presentation andcommunication skills, in addition to technical skills

  • Have a detailedunderstanding of the application and integration architectures (at a minimum)with a breadth of understanding across the remaining views

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Masters in Engineeringor Business Administration

  • Functional knowledge ofIT Target Operating Model and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool such asSAP or Oracle.

  • Have working exposuretowards the latest emerging technologies such as Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Mobility,Analytical, and Digital

  • Agile Scrum, PMP, TOGAFor ITIL certified
