Based in the EYC3 team as a Enterprise Intelligence Service Delivery Manager, this is a key role within the team as a differentiated offering
within EY. You'll enjoy working in
multi-disciplinary teams and gaining valuable experience in various sectors and
play a key role in ensuring high quality outputs and service to our clients.
We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead multiple client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services and lead business development activities. Applicants between 8 to 12 years' relevant experience may be considered for the role of Manager.
To qualify for the role you must have:
Bachelor's degree in a Business, Commerce and/or numerate discipline e.g. Business Management, Commerce, Information Management, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science
Between 12 to 15 years' experience in consulting, analytics software-as-a-service or technology industry
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, conversion and testing
Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
Must have proven hands-on experience in the use of MSSQL, Teradata or other enterprise-level data warehousing software
Exposure to all stage of data analytics project life-cycle (identification, extraction, load, transform/shape, analyze, report) both from a design and implementation perspective
Design and implementation of an operational data store and data warehouse on one of the leading platforms
Demonstrable understanding of data quality risks and ability to carry out necessary quality checks to validate results obtained
Development of reporting and analytics business capabilities, strategy and road-map
Definition of Business Intelligence technical architectures
Design and implementation of at least one of leading Business Intelligence packages (e.g. Business Objects, Micro Strategy , Spotfire, ClickView, SAS
5 years’ hands-on experience in developing architectural and design patterns, considerations, solution options and impact
Experience in developing state, event, UML, and Entity-Relationship models.
Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or PeopleSoft
Articulate, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Adaptable, able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
Intellectually rigorous, with strong analytical skills and a passion for data
Ability to work accurately to a high level of detail
Travelling is required
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with big data analytics platforms such as Spark or Rapidminer
Well-organized with experience of project management

Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels

Cultivate and manage business development opportunities
Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks
Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge
Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge Possess good business acumen
Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
Educating clients and key stakeholders on the benefits of data analysis and how it can be applied to their solve business issues continuously
Effectively manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization
