The opportunity

We’re currently growing our Transaction Advisory Services team to meet increasing demand. As part of the team, you can expect exposure to a full range of client types and needs, along with formal training to support your personal goals.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assisting engagement managers in executing business valuations using different valuation methodologies

  • Conducting business valuations, financial feasibility studies and business plans including financial modelling

  • Performing business and financial analysis, conducting market research and report writing

  • Responsible for business modelling and analysis of financial performance. This includes the development of assumptions in the preparation of prospective financial statements

  • Developing, reviewing and analysing detailed financial models for transactions under analysis

  • Coordinating the execution of engagement administration activities, including managing/monitoring engagement economics, document retention, knowledge sharing and client communication

Skills and attributes for success

  • Developing detailed financial models with knowledge in the international prevailing valuation methodologies and practices.

  • Providing tailored valuation advice on both tangible and intangible assets

  • Researching and determining value across our customers’ wide range of needs

  • Identifying risks, issues and opportunities, suggesting simple, effective strategies to drive improvement

  • Building relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting them and promoting a collaborative culture

  • Working self-directed in many instances, show proficiency and consistent application of templates, tools, models and best practices to support the delivery of our services.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 3 – 5 years relevant working experience

  • Strong academic record including a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

  • Postgraduate degree or professional qualification such as Masters/MBA/CFA

  • Technical skills required (Strong knowledge and background in valuation analysis, financial statements analysis, feasibility analysis, preparation of pro-forma financial statements, Purchase Price allocation Analysis, etc.)

  • Strong MS office skills, especially when modelling using Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by the confidence to work effectively in a high-energy, fast-moving environment

  • The ability to influence colleagues and communicate complex concepts simply and effectively to non-technical audiences

  • Evidence of report writing skills and the ability to prepare multiple draft reports simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Client facing experience from a leading organisation

  • Experience and understanding of how business operates MENA region

  • Proficiency in the Arabic language
