As part of our Global Tax Platform (GTP) Team you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative solutions for our client-serving Tax professionals. GTP professionals will partner with our Tax professionals to develop supporting technology such as digital/mobile tools to improve internal operations.
The Senior Automation Architect role will work closely with the Automation Team and DevOps teams to design and develop expendable test automation solutions involving functional UI and API testing via a CI/CD Pipeline across multiple environments with multiple browsers.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Enhance existing POM Framework as automation technology needs arise
Create and maintain needed automation build pipelines/releases within Azure DevOps
Provide technical guidance and expertise to automation engineers, including reviewing PRs for adherence to code standards and best practices
Assist and troubleshoot issues that may arise in the existing Test Automation Framework.
Make recommendations to the Test Automation Manager and assist in the improvement of processes and practices
Identify and report issues and risks associated with own work
Ability to quickly understand the application under test and the existing test automation framework
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks within an overall automation team
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting options for solutions, and when agreed upon by team, lead the implementation of the resolution proposed.
Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
5+ Years of Experience with automation test development using a Page Object Model Design with Selenium /C#
Experience writing REST API Integration Tests
3+ years working as Test Automation Architect including proven experience of designing and implementing Automation Testing frameworks and methodology to support agile product development
3+ Years of experience in Agile environment implementing CI/CD Automation Solutions using ADO Pipelines, Test Agents and/or related CI/CD automated build tools
Strong programming and technical experience as this role will require digging into code and interfacing with developers and delivery managers
Nice to Have
Experience with testing a large microservice application
Experience with Browser Stack
Knowledge of Tax Industry
Knowledge of Quality Assurance Best Practices
Experience with MAQS Automation Framework
- A bachelor’s degree (computer science, engineering, accounting, finance preferred) or Equivalent work experience
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $120,700 to $225,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $144,900 to $256,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
