As a User Experience (UX) Designer you will conceptualize and design mobile and web applications for our clients. The UX Designer is involved in discovery sessions, user interviews, low and high-fidelity wireframe design, hand-off to development and QA.
Your key responsibilities
You will focus on the design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud-based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and solutions that will bring our clients' digital vision and strategy to life.
Skills and attributes for success
Design interactive interfaces by translating requirements into low/high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
Analyze project requirements to identify user roles and specific use cases.
Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives.
Present and evangelize proposed design solutions both internally and to clients.
Design responsive UI for custom websites.
Build and design mobile and web applications using low-code solutions (Microsoft PowerApps).
Optimize the usability of native CRM interfaces (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) by creating customized layouts for specific use cases.
Work with an in-house development team to ensure the final product matches the intended design and experience.
Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's Degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Digital Design, Information Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience working in interaction design, user interface design, or other usability practices.
Portfolio of completed design work illustrating both mobile and desktop solutions.
Experience with Sketch, Figma, and/or Adobe applications.
Comfortable working with clients to gather user requirements and present concepts.
Up to 10% out-of-town travel required.
Ideally, you'll also have
An aptitude for data visualization and creating intuitive experiences for business users as opposed to consumers.
Familiarity with mobile devices (iOS, Android), and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce) is a plus.
Familiarity with various scripting languages (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) and their impact on development, usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/platform compatibility is a plus.
Prior consulting experience preferred.
