The opportunity

Work as part of a team on the Human Capital Management (HCM) workstream of Infor ERP implementation, providing expertise during implementation, upgrade or redesign projects. General requirements include hands-on experience with implementations and/or upgrades of the Infor HCM functional suite, along with project leadership and subject-matter expertise. Work directly with the client, providing hands-on leadership, process design, application build support, training, testing, go-live support and change management.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Human Capital workstream of Infor ERP implementations, including initiation, planning, design, build and deploy phases

  • Be responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals

  • Support the HCM lead to work with clients to understand current-state processes and define future-state business processes based on business objectives

  • Help to configure applications according to requirements and design, and conduct required testing

  • Support development of training materials to support user adoption and conduct training classes

  • Provide post go-live support

  • Participate in program leadership, governance and change enablement

  • Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets and workplans

  • Participate in other business development activities as appropriate

  • Be flexible and willing to manage significant travel depending on the time of year; must have a valid driver’s license

Your role in leading teams or parts of teams on engagements will depend on the size of the engagement and will be under the responsibility of higher levels. Teams will look to you to anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate.

As an influential member of the team, you'll help create a positive learning culture, and you’ll coach and counsel junior team members and help them develop.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in talent and human capital processes, including recruiting, hiring, administration, benefits and compensation, and payroll

  • Three to five years of related work experience, with a minimum of two years of Lawson HCM, including one or more of the following:

  • Human Resources

  • Personnel Administration

  • Absence Management

  • Payroll

  • Benefits Administration

  • Employee and Manager Self-Services

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in the implementation of Infor Global Human Resources

  • Experience supporting health-related clients/industry

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
