EY advises clients to understand, architect, select and implement digital marketing technology with a strong emphasis on marketing automation as well as other emerging technology solutions. We are looking for resources with technical and functional experience in marketing and a focus on digital marketing technology.
This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and continue to develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital marketing landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients’ team and we’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique technical and business perspective to solve their business issues using Marketing Technology.
Your key responsibilities
You will lead team members who are focused on the technical design, development, configuration, customization, and testing of marketing solutions to meet the client’s need. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.
Skills and attributes for success
Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, testing, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle
Guiding team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY
Leading team members in the technical design, development and implementation of marketing technology solutions
Designing the data flow and integration of marketing systems
Developing cost and timeline estimates based on solution requirements
Understanding data modeling and data flows
Visualizing complex concepts and issues
Providing broad technical knowledge of various key technology and business platforms
Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances
Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related work experience
4 or more years of experience in implementing marketing solutions (Adobe Campaign, Marketo or Salesforce preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry specific business and technology functions
A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs
Ideally, you’ll also have
One or more certifications in Adobe, Marketo or Salesforce marketing technology
Adobe Campaign developer or architect certifications (Additional Adobe certifications such Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, and/or Adobe Audience Manager preferred)
Marketo Certified Solution Architect
Salesforce Certified Architect or Designer
Experience with multiple marketing technologies
Experience integrating marketing automation systems with third party systems
Experience working in an agile implementation environment
Prior consulting experience highly preferred
