As a Manager in our People Advisory Services practice you will work with leading organisations to help them get the most out of their people and their information. With access to talented leaders, formal learning and a wide variety of practical experience, you will receive all the support you need to succeed. You will apply and improve your consulting capabilities as you work on high profile engagements and clients across NZ.
Your key responsibilities are to:
Create innovative insights to address the workforce needs of clients who are experiencing change after implementation of an HRIS or other enterprise business application.
Implement organisational change projects with strategy, communication and methodology to support a client’s change program. Design and deliver training, awareness and engagement activities including assessment of change readiness and change impact through analytics and consultation with key client stakeholders.
Help clients reshape how they operate, build the capabilities of their employees and effectively use their people and digital technology to achieve their stated goals.
Prepare and deliver client proposals and other supporting materials in a variety of formats.
Direct and conduct analysis and research using EY knowledge resources to rapidly develop client insights.
Oversee refinement of project findings into clear, concise, high-quality deliverables.
Your skills and attributes for success in this role will be:
Experience in change programs associated with system implementations and people-related implications, for example, organisational development, operating model design, or learning & development.
Project Management and oversight of project team to deliver high quality outcomes on time and on budget.
Understanding of business information needs, system implementations, organisational change theory with exposure to functions related organisational culture, people management, communications, business process change and business transformation.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels (internal and external clients) – you enjoy meeting new people, can develop relationships and appreciate learning from others.
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the needs of clients and develop appropriate solutions that address their specific needs.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal with a natural curiosity to adapt to new ways of working
Ability to work in ambiguous situations, being resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
Ability to explain ideas and concepts clearly and deliver insights succinctly to ensure a broad audience can understand.
Well-developed written and oral skills (documents, presentations and group facilitation).
A creative and innovative outlook, with ability to produce new ideas and concepts
Flexibility - client environments change, you must be flexible and able to quickly adapt to your client’s needs
Ability to improvise – foresee and implement a range of solutions.
Ability to successfully work autonomously on multiple projects.
Ability to productively collaborate with others in cross-practice teams.
Willing to go the extra mile to meet and surpass client needs and expectations
Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality outcomes.
Competent in the Microsoft suite, Outlook and the Internet.
Effectively manage time by sharing knowledge and seeking advice from others.
To qualify for the role you must have:
3 – 5 years’ experience in a technology or operational role with a focus on change management including working with an HRIS (e.g. SAP,)
A degree in technology, commerce, management, business
Ability to travel for work purposes
Ideally, you will also have
Experience working in a large/matrix organisation
An understanding of your role in helping EY build a better working world
