EY's Private Client Services (PCS) practice is an integrated and collaborative team of business professionals providing accounting, financial reporting, tax and advisory services to the best clients in the New Zealand market.
We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Auckland team. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals and families and their private investment entities, including trusts and companies. You will assist with domestic and international tax advisory services, tax compliance and wealth management.
Drawing on your skills and experience in tax and accounting, you will provide advice on a broad range of personal, trust and company tax matters, incorporating domestic and international considerations; prepare and provide annual tax and financial reporting compliance services; and contribute to strategic planning for, and the implementation of, family governance frameworks and structures. Working across multiple projects and clients, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team advising clients on wealth management and succession through the delivery of tax advice, tax filings, financial statements, portfolio reporting and family governance.

Previousexperience gained in an accounting firm, corporate or business consultingenvironment
Technical tax and accounting knowledge relevant toindividuals and private companies and groups
First-class numerical and analytical skills
Experience working with various core accounting and tax technologiesincluding MYOB and Xero
Knowledge of and an appetite for the use of cloud-based appsand solutions
Ideally,you’ll also have
- An undergraduate qualification in Accounting andhave recently completed or are currently undertaking the CA program
