As part of our growing Advisory business, and specifically our Portfolio and Program Management (PPM) practice, you will be part of a team that advises on the development and management practices required to support the successful outcomes of our client’s complex programmes in order to achieve their strategic objectives; making the business better and enhancing controls and process.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Be involved in some of NZ’s most complex capital programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from concept, feasibility, through planning & design, into procurement, construction & development, commissioning & operational readiness
Support business development activities, sales and client account management
Build relationship networks within the firm and work collaboratively across Advisory and other service lines
Mentor, coach and develop staff
Actively contribute to PPM practice management activities

Able to present insights succinctly, informed by team's structured problem solving
Able to enhance client thinking with a natural curiosity to adapt to new ways of working
Willing to go the extra mile to meet and surpass client needs and expectations
Advanced written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation communication ability
Strong project and time management ability, able to manage high quality output against tight deadlines
Able to adapt and flex with changing needs
To qualify for the role you must have:
3 to 8 years + experience in positions including strategy, project management/engineering, risk management/project controls, commercial, legal and/or regulatory compliance.
You will have ' hands on' experience on major capital projects/business change programs as client/owner or part of contractor teams
Sound analytical and problem-solving ability
Ideally, you’ll also have
Management consulting experience gained through a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm
A degree qualification in engineering, science, law, accounting, economics, business and/or finance
Project management accreditation or qualification by a reputable institution
Proven experience in running and delivering project management services to large scale programs
