Do you aspire to lead a team and manage merger or acquisition deals from the ground up?
Join our Transaction Diligence (TD) team in Auckland and help corporate and private equity clients on buy-side to understand if the deal is the right decision at the right price and what post-merger integration opportunities are available to unlock synergies across the business.
We are looking for an experienced Integration Specialist to join our Transaction Diligence team and drive merger integration such as optimising technologies and simulating back office functions. If you have experience managing a post-merger integration in a large organisation, this could be a great development opportunity for you to refine your skills across various industries.
Your key responsibilities
Contribute to Transaction Diligence through management of and involvement in key Transaction Diligence engagements with a special focus on post-merger integration
Advise clients on their chartering, detailed transition planning, data gathering and analysis, synergy value capture, functional integration, monitoring, communication, and other commitments. Examples might include integrated supply chain, back office shared services and ERP implication
Development of junior team members, particularly in post-merger integration
Create a strong network of relationships across the Transactions industry and identify new business opportunities.

To qualify for the role you must have
Significant understanding of post-merger integrations and the transaction diligence industry
Experience working in post-merger environment in a large corporate, or Consulting, Corporate Advisory or Private Equity
Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis. Understanding of basics of valuation, financial analysis and transaction risk management
Demonstrable ability to execute and complete elements of transaction diligence engagements
Demonstrable ability aptitude to learn to respond pro-actively to client requirements
