Americas Consulting Digital Content Editor, Senior Associate

The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s ambition to create long-term value as the world’s most trusted, distinctive professional services organization. About the role

This is your chance to become part of the Americas Consulting Content Strategy team that manages the production of strategic content aligned to business objectives; this includes the development, optimization, mapping and maintenance of our Americas Consulting ey.com pages and sites. Join us and help build a connected ecosystem that generates client intelligence, anticipates client issues, and advances audiences along the path to finding the right EY Consulting solutions, services, contacts and information.

You will be responsible for supporting Senior Editors in editing and optimizing content on US EY.com, ensuring it meets quality standards and adheres to our editorial and digital marketing strategy. Assist Americas Consulting Senior Editors and marketing team members, guiding them through the internal process for publishing content, and advising them on digital marketing best practices that enhance our brand, serve users and drive site engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Editors and marketing teams in bringing content to life on EY.com, including reviewing digital content, supporting website management, coordinating with stakeholders on page goals, and providing clear direction to page build team.

  • Ensure content published on EY.com is top quality, including:

  • Taking long-form or offline content and editing it to be digitally optimized

  • Editing copy decks submitted by stakeholders to ensure content is digitally friendly, high-quality, brand-compliant and topical

  • Ensure effective user journey by linking to additional priority pages, campaign promotions

  • Review content and suggest how best to optimize for SEO performance, including conducting keyword research, and editing/writing page titles, meta descriptions, h-tags and body content

  • Act as the liaison between stakeholders and the page builder team, including:

  • Ensuring stakeholder requests are clear and executable

  • Reformatting content to fit EY.com page template standards (copy deck creation) and be easily applied/executed by the page building team

  • Coordinating with stakeholders and team members to ensure pages are built on time according to stakeholders’ deadlines

  • Assist in site management by requesting edits to existing pages. Develop) a strong knowledge of the page components and guidelines governing them to guide stakeholders on best page layout and user experience

  • Learn website taxonomy and ensure new content is tagged effectively

Technical Skills

  • Understand the offerings of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS to suggest the right templates and modules to the stakeholders for the achievement of their marketing purpose

  • Demonstrate exceptional project management and coordination skills

  • Be professional, confident and enthusiastic; adapt to flexible work timings; demonstrate exceptional work ethic and customer focus

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other project management systems

  • Must have experience and be comfortable working closely with global teams

Skills and attributes for success

  • Advocate for digital best practices, including how to use different content types/formats and design elements to create effective, engaging user experiences

  • Make decisions throughout a project that balance the need to meet a deadline and still meet the original requirements of the project

  • Work independently to complete multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment

To qualify for the role, you should have

  • Excellent US English written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of how messages may be received globally

  • Understanding of digital marketing and publishing best practices

  • Basic knowledge of SEO relating to content development

  • Project and time management ability, including use of project management tools and systems
