Job Summary:
The Data Analyst will join a growing team of analytics experts and would be responsible for understanding and gathering analytics needs from the business, collaborate with data engineering team to solve business problems, communicate the analytics outcomes through compelling visuals and data stories. The incumbent must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products. It would involve designing, developing, validating, scaling, and optimizing analytics solutions. This includes defining KPIs aligned to strategic products and services, measuring the performance against targets, and providing analysis and insight that recognizes trends and offers predictive considerations to help support data driven strategic business decision-making.
This position works across EY Knowledge globally to deliver analytics based on strategic needs that serve to support and enhance activities that are part of integrated knowledge plans. This position also inputs into the development and maintenance of the analytics infrastructure and methodology and supports business operations management including resource allocation, capacity management, competency development and other operational activities.
Essential functions of the job:

Work closely with business users and analytics team to lead development of high-quality data-driven analytics solutions to support knowledge strategy & initiatives
Lead analytics projects and sustain through lifecycle – design reviews, develop, test, launch analytics solutions. Provide end-user training and create communications plan – includes scoping, estimating, assessing risks and delivering
Identify and address project demand and resource supply gaps
Collaborate with data management team to optimize data sources, ensure compliance with data governance and risk management practices
Network globally & establish firm understanding of business problems and opportunities and proactively leverage emerging technologies & techniques to support/enhance BI landscape
Identify and lead innovation & automation opportunities to build efficiency and generate value.
Support talent acquisition activities and build capabilities at scale.
Addresses conflicts and issues in the team; such as competing priorities from different stakeholder groups, people and operations-related challenges, etc.; escalates to seek guidance when necessary
Participate in GDS initiatives enhance team’s brand and generate impact of work
Oversee development of technical solution & process documentation to maintain business continuity
Provide strategic inputs/support to leadership team in achieving GDS KPIs and targets for Data & Analytics team
Technical Skill Requirements:
Experience in building analytics systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights
Strong logical and analytical mindset, and ability to effectively manage stakeholder needs.
Strong knowledge of web analytics and metrics concepts
Consulting and business facing skills i.e. networking, relationship building and influencing skills
Ability to synthesize complex topics into simpler, intuitive business language to communicate with stakeholders, Data Engineers and Adobe Administrators
Experience in data analytics architectures and standards, including data warehouses, master data management, ETL, OLAP, meta data management, data quality management, advanced analytics, reporting and self-service BI.
Experience in data manipulation using Alteryx or SQL or R/ Python etc.,
Ability to create compelling storytelling and presentations using data visualization techniques and tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.,
Ability to identity risk and data quality related issues and implement solutions.
Ability to train/coach project members and business stakeholders
Ability to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills to talk about knowledge programs in a clear, compelling manner with a professional/executive presence

Ability to lead key projects that improve KM products and services; exemplifies an openness for flexible resource models and efficient project execution; incubates innovative ideas, provides a continues improvement framework for the team
Experience in leading and creating high-quality analytics solutions by applying strong business/ technical knowledge; leverages community and network to identify best practices
Project management skills including leading multiple competing projects, assess risks and deliver quality results utilizing project management fundamentals.
Take responsibility for performing high-quality support for project, product management and any DE support related responsibilities. Helps to oversee junior analysts and guide them in understanding and executing support tasks.
Demonstrates a broad technical skill set and understanding of business support needs, potential solutions, and considerations from a legal/ regulatory perspective
Ability to interpret internal business issues and recommend solutions / best practices
Demonstrates a deep understanding of internal business drivers, and can translate them to project product and DE support requirements and priorities
Provide innovative solutions and new thinking to business needs and complex issues
Nurtures an environment where others can communicate openly and honestly, and proactively connects different people to come up with better analyst support solutions and ideas

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maths, Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent OR an MBA
Experience:
9+ years of relevant experience as data analyst that includes experience working with data management teams & practices
Ideally, experience in knowledge measurement and analytics program in large, complex organization is an advantage
Certification Requirements:
- Analytics certifications (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau) desirable
