Review multi - country payroll and support payroll system set-up including data migration and transition. Also involve in processing where required to manage the volumes.
Strong technical knowledge in Payroll regulations and be trusted advisor to country teams
Manage the Payroll volumes for multiple payroll clients with agreed turnaround time
Deliver high payroll quality output to country teams
Deliver payroll processing service including ensuring the operational aspects of payroll processing, associated activities and deliver within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant country legislation.
Establish, maintain and develop strong and trusted client relationships that result in high client satisfaction and act as a primary day to day contact for assigned clients
Managing enquiries from clients, internal regional service centres, and local offices via our case management tool, ensuring full resolution in line with company Service Level Agreements
Provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee salaries are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained
Detailed focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness of payroll related activities as assigned and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of payroll process.
Assist the client in their Adhoc projects, understand the requirement and ensure completion to the satisfaction.
Good project management skills and strong experience in stakeholder management.
Manage the payroll volumes and handle 5 to 10 FTE’s involved in payroll processing.
Creative and analytical in solving team members day to day queries.
Drive process efficiency by doing continuous improvement.
Support managers to prepare for the monthly review by providing the required data
Contribute to the application and monitoring of the Hub’s methodology framework, principles, and delegations
Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross - training to other peers and team members.
Adhoc reporting and other duties as required
Technical Skills and Qualification:
6 to 10 years of experience in handling Africa Payroll
Expatriate payroll understanding is required.
Good at project management and stakeholder management.
Familiar with reporting monthly metrics to clients.
Should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Science
Previous experience in handling high volume of full function payroll and experience of managing multiple clients
Experience in Microsoft Office suite of products –Advanced excel
Experience in personnel and people management, including supervision and team building
Payroll/HR/Finance/Systems background with an understanding of the core competencies of the payroll process
Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels
Open to work in different shift timings
