Career Framework Role Description
Significantly contributes to the creation and enhancement of new and existing visual designs, leveraging sound knowledge
Executes visual design projects, considering the effects of illustrations, photography, typography, space, layouts and color on the usability of products and their aesthetic appeal, under minimal guidance
Responsibilities
Produces high-fidelity concepts, prototypes, visual design specifications, motion design, and typography to develop a visual design that enhances the user experience
Develops design documentation (e.g. style guides, pattern libraries) and prototypes, partnering with Experience Designers to develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
Works with moderate independence to understand client/brand needs, the needs of their customers, and translates those needs into compelling design systems
Assists in presenting to and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders
Supports with the organization and facilitation of meetings and workshops that align with project phase and client goals
Escalates potential business opportunities on existing projects
Actively participates in brainstorms, critiques and other collaborative sessions alongside multidisciplinary teams, contributing to product insight and innovation
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Good understanding of Color Theory, illustration, Composition, Typography
Good understanding of Sketch, Invision, Adobe Suite
Working knowledge of Principle, Framer, Figma
Good understanding of visual design principles and processes
Experience
- Some experience in a visual design role, or similar
