The opportunity

As an Innovation Sprint Leader, you will play an integral role in driving Innovation initiatives to improve the user experience and drive efficiency for our practitioners worldwide.

As part of the IT Innovation function, you will work together with a team of on- and off-shore consultants around the world. You will drive technology teams on hands on research and experimentation to explore ‘Art of the Possible’. You will need to have the right balance of technology and management expertise to lead and drive innovation initiatives working with global stakeholders

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver multiple innovation initiatives starting from ideation through prototyping working with innovation/technology consultants

  • Work closely together with mainstream implementation teams in EY to transition and drive adoption of technologies and prototypes

  • Apply agile methodology in developing experimental prototypes leveraging a sprint based, agile innovation method

  • Drive ideation process in framing ideas to tangible concepts

  • Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the innovation lifecycle

  • Single point of contact for his/her respective initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual with 7 plus years of experience in the IT industry

  • Agile Project Management expertise with excellent understanding and experience in industry standard PM methodologies

  • Should have hands-on experience in end to end Software Development Life Cycle

  • Should be passionate about Innovation and idea generation

  • Technology savvy with knowledge of latest trends and technologies in the market (Examples include Mobile, Analytics, Cloud, IoT, Wearables, Robotics etc.)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that could be leveraged to socialize and market new ideas and concepts

  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity and “can do” attitude with an open mind-set to work on any technology area

  • Excellent customer relationship and expectation management skills

  • Should have cross geography cultural awareness and experience in working with global customers

  • Should have good command on MS project, MS Visio, MSWord, Excel

  • Good command on using MS PowerPoint to develop high quality, professional presentations

  • Should have good understanding of project finance – including rate cards, utilization and realization

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 8+ years of overall experience in managing technology initiatives across its lifecycle, preferably in the innovation space.

  • Experience in conducting ideation sessions/workshops.

  • Experience with incubation and institutionalization of innovation ideas leveraging emerging technologies like AI and Blockchain.

  • Delivery using modern methodologies especially SAFe Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.
