This role is intended to support the operations and system administration of the upstream Ariba – Sourcing, Contract Management and SLP. The role will work closely with the Procurement members, business users and technical teams with the vendors and internal EY IT. This position supports the procurement process from implementation of request management to project completion. A basic IT background with knowledge of procurement technology implementation project management is ideal.
EY is looking for an individual that will play an important role in gaining acceptance and trust from the Procurement Users that SAP Ariba can solve their challenges. The Supervisor will have an important role in building the Ariba Practice at EY – Procurement department and beyond.
Key required skills include:
Act as SME for Ariba S&C tool and assume end to end system admin responsibility
Act as Tier 1 & 2 support - ability to troubleshoot system issues and complex business end user questions
Business as Usual (BAU) support - oversee data quality management and resolution, additional BAU activities as needed
Drive change management and adoption
Ariba Sourcing experience is strongly preferred.
Maintain a high-level knowledge of SAP’s procurement solution suite in the specialization area of responsibility.
Designs workflows specific to business process outcomes and understands how to develop and integrate a proposed solution into a customers existing business and technical environment.
Be actively involved in the solution implementation to ensure that solutions are accurately scoped and delivered in line with customer expectations.
Become a thought leader in the Procurement Space.
Act as system administrator and primary business support person
Maintain user roles and permissions
Configure and maintain upstream business rules
Perform certain import and export of file loads
Perform semi-annual user certifications
Train end users
Create and maintain workflows
Provide first / second tier support for end user troubleshooting
Supports Sourcing project creation, master data updates and new fields creation and alteration
Create and manage information related to vendors
Continue the change management process that will enable Ariba to become a standard platform for all strategic sourcing activities
Collaborate with Global & Regional Category Managers to execute strategic sourcing project management, onboard & train users in Procurement, create and maintain training and standard process documentation.
Working with others from around the world, you will be responsible for the day to day management of user profiles, supplier profiles, all templates and all library content.
Manage communication with Ariba platform technical team about problem resolution, new enhancements and upcoming releases.
Build and update reports, workflows and dashboards
Provide clear guidance and structure to the Procurement process.
Any graduate. Post-graduation preferred.
Minimum 8 years’ techno-functional experience with Ariba Source to Contract and SLP
Should have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in Procurement Application System Admin role or similar environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in interdepartmental team settings
Ability to multitask and coordinate time sensitive duties
