Join our Business Development team (“BD”) and you will support and execute go-to-market business development and marketing strategies. As a Business Development professional, you’ll work with account teams to build relationships with our clients, drive new business and build revenue growth.

Your key responsibilities

► Support and co-lead the go-to market strategy for the Tax ‘big bets’ in the Region (via Global 360 / Market Segments)

► Manage top-end tax pipeline and work on the largest Region tax strategic pursuits

► Providing expert go-to-market recommendations to the Region Tax Leadership team

► Being in the field with partners to support them on their most important pursuits

► Providing sales training and driving pursuits excellence across the entire span of Tax

Skills and attributes for success

► Driving overall sales goal for the Tax Region

► Executing Exceptional Client Service(“ECS”) in every external and internal encounter and being the enabler to drive ECS with all the client serving professionals in Tax

► Providing sales training and real-time coaching with client facing emphasis

► Ensure integration with the Region and Service Line BD teams to create better collaboration and integration of go-to-market opportunities.

► Being viewed as a business development subject matter expert in the following

► Client business issues and challenges that drive opportunity

► Competencies / skill sets of tax professionals within the practices to ensure best allocation of resources

► Current win themes and formulas for success on major pursuits and opportunities

► Assisting with the pricing strategy and execution with our people and with our select accounts and pursuits

► Leveraging and utilizing EY's sales methodology

► Facilitate client sessions (including key flagship client events)

To qualify for the role you must have

► Driving and managing the Region Tax Pipeline

► Helping teams drive pursuits, integration, and pull-through on top-end opportunities where applicable

► Serving as the sales expert lead on the largest regional opportunities

► Leveraging and sharing best practices directly and indirectly from top opportunities

► Ensuring appropriate Regional and Area support on strategic opportunities

Ideally, you’ll also have

► Driving push/pull activity across the Service Lines

► Prioritizing Tax BD investment across Global 360

► Drive initiatives through the Region distribution channels

► Coach and leverage account centric BD’s in region on strategic tax go to market initiatives and value propositions

What we look for

► Bachelor degree or above

► Excellent presentation skills

► At least 10 years working experience on Business Development

► Native Putonghua; English can be used as working language; Good in communication

► Working experience in large consulting firms / multinational companies is preferred
