Pega Practice – Manager – Lead System Architect (LSA)

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Pega Lead System Architect to support EY’s Pega Practice delivery team.  This is an advisory consulting role with an expectation of in person client service as public health protocols and policy permit.  You will be bringing Pega technical expertise performing analysis of client requirements, provide solution architecture, and design. In addition, you will be guiding the disputes team members and deliver a variety of disputes resolutions solutions using full Pega smart disputes and other suite of technologies. You will also be involved in working with the Managers, Senior Manager to support them in sales proposals, as well as supporting the development of assets and accelerators.  

Your key responsibilities

Our practice focuses on high value Business Transformation and Integration where the core of the solution is the Pega platform and its industry solutions. You will work collaboratively with our clients to establish and assist with the implementation of a business-driven vision for their IT functions. Day to day this involves configuring all modules/features of Pega platform.  Our aim is, with our clients, to establish a business-driven vision for the future of their IT software systems and processes with a focus on leading Automation software technologies. 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Act as a key point of contact with clients to discuss disputes requirements

  • Solution, architect, and design disputes solutions keeping big picture in mind, meeting or exceeding best practices

  • Understand current, future client needs and develop roadmap keeping complexity, feasibility, business value of features/functionality

  • Estimate effort, plan onshore/offshore staffing mix, and manage financials of complex engagements

  • Lead design and development work for Pega Disputes projects providing guidance to team members

  • Pega 8 readiness

  • Architect, design, and develop advanced configuration solutions using Pega 8

  • Review/approve design and logic configurations

  • Consult and train clients as required

  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership as well as junior staff resources

  • Mentoring junior staff resources on project cadence and technology ramp up  

  • Strong leadership skills and proven track record of being a team player focused on building and growing people

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Keen attention to detail, problem solving and strong Analytical Skills. 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience implementing Pega in at least two different industries.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Overall, 8 to 12 years of experience in IT application execution, development, configuration or testing experience, preferably on Pega Platform 

  • One or more of: 

  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect certification

  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect certification

  • Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant 

  • Minimum 2 years of knowledge with building or creating disputes applications across Credit card, Debit card, ACH, ATM, Wires and check processing

  • Knowledge of VISA / VROL disputes processing within the VISA rules and/or MasterCard/MCOM disputes processing and regulations
