  • Streamline existing and/or envision new reports to enable world-class insights and analytics for GPS Service Lines, Sub-Service Lines, and Competencies (i.e. “supply side”).

  • Identify current pain points and opportunities for automation of current reporting processes. Implement best practices to ensure repeatability, efficiency, and data integrity.

  • Understand financial and non-financial data elements and ensure data needs identified in reporting design are reflected in EY’s Costpoint design and configuration. Identify and resolve data gaps.

  • Design processes to support the GPS Finance Lead in transmitting financial results and other metrics to EY LLP in a timely manner.

  • Document the GPS reporting strategy and methods and create a report catalogue for users’ reference.

  • In the case of acquisition, work with incoming team to identify any/all unique data or reporting needs and ensure those needs can be met in the EY reporting ecosystem or identify and help to implement workable alternatives.

  • Ensure timely and reliable availability of user-friendly data to support internal reviews and external regulatory reporting.

  • Ensure data needed to support cost calculations and charges will be available at the proper time to the proper participants within the GPS accounting close cycle.
