Job Summary:

As Experience Management Assistant Director, you'll be responsible for the New England market within the Northeast Region Tax Practice. You'll provide guidance and make recommendations regarding the deployment and development of resources, alignment of resources according to the practice and the firm’s strategic plan and analysis of operational results.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Participates in the forecasting process that helps facilitate the resource management teams to achieve maximum utilization of resource support.

  • Identifies means of continuous resource management process improvements along with developing and sharing best practices.

  • Meets with senior leadership to discuss staffing requirements for their clients and to gain an understanding of specific engagements needs and details.

  • May coordinate with cross functional teams to assign counselors to resource analysts, identify instructors for firm sponsored training programs, manage the on-boarding needs of interns, staff hires and transfer employees.

  • May supervise others on the resource management team and manage their performance.

  • Delegates projects/tasks as appropriate, to enhance development opportunities.

  • Help resource analysts come up with alternative approaches to staffing issues.

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of work experience.

  • Experience in a professional services firm desirable and CPA license a plus.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office technology, with a focus on Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong project management and supervisory skills.

  • Adaptable to changing environments.

  • Excellent communication skills.
