What you will do

As an intern in the People Consulting practice, you’ll assess complex client challenges, benchmark against competitors, advise on leading practices, and guide clients through implementations, transactions, and transformations. Even in your first year, you will help engagement leaders gather and analyze meaningful data, identify risks, enable successful project management, and learn how businesses operate. We help clients understand, secure, and improve their people agenda. As part of our team you’ll support organizations’ adaptation to key market trends like the growing emphasis on the employee experience, digital technology enablement, innovation, and the globalizing workforce. From day one you’ll work with clients across the spectrum in industry, size, culture, and region. Likewise, you will partner with analysts, partners, interns and client executives to help build a better working world. Job Requirements and Preferences

  • Required Qualifications

  • Have or are working toward an undergrad or master's degree in human resources, human capital, labor relations, organizational design, business, industrial and organizational psychology, communications, economics or finance

  • Desire to work in consulting demonstrated by relevant course work or interest

  • F lexibility and readiness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary (Ways of Working)

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt in a dynamic business landscape

  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and a purpose-driven approach to turn challenges into opportunities and drive meaningful change

  • Utilize structured thinking to effectively analyze and articulate complex problems and solutions

  • Leverage collaborative problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology to positively influence global and domestic business operations

  • Effective project management skills – managing a project plan, raising risks, and adhering to a deadline are all tasks that will be encountered on the job

  • Access to reliable transportation for commuting to EY office and client sites, with a driver's license preferred (Ways of Working)

What we offer

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The salary range for this job, in the US, is $37.45-$43.39 per hour. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.

In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
