Drawing on its reputation for providing leading Advisory services and deep industry experience across complex programs in the public and private sectors, EY’s Program and Portfolio Management practice is offering an exceptional opportunity to join their team. You can be part of a highly innovative and dynamic team, offering a new level of excellence in program and portfolio business transformation.

Working in a globally integrated team, you can also work in a variety of industry sectors.

The opportunity to shape your career is yours - we are looking for highly motivated self-starters and strong team players who like to challenge themselves; who can think strategically but enjoy “rolling up their sleeves” and working with clients in the trenches to get the job done.

In your role as a Senior Consultant in PPM, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting clients with successful delivery of their capital programs or business transformation, leading to the reform or improvement of operational efficiency

  • Be involved in complex capital programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from concept, feasibility and financing, through planning statutory process & design, into procurement, construction, commissioning & operational readiness

  • Review value for money, affordability and benefits realisation

  • Participate in the research and development required to support the growth of these fields of expertise

About You

  • 3 to 5 years + experience in positions including strategy, project management/engineering, risk management/project controls, commercial, legal and/or regulatory compliance

  • You will have ' hands on' experience on major capital projects/business transformation programs

  • Proven experience in running and delivering projects, programs or PMO services

  • Sound analytical and problem solving ability

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Management consulting experience gained through a “Big 4” or boutique consulting firm

  • A degree qualification in engineering or business

  • Practical exposure to asset management projects across an infrastructure portfolio
