The opportunity

Our Brisbane based Government Incentives team is growing rapidly and are looking for R&D specialists who can deliver real-time insights, working directly with clients to shape and enhance business strategies to help them solve tomorrows problems today. Your key responsibilities

  • Drawing on your technical knowledge you will advise and support clients in accessing government grants and incentives to support their R&D and innovation processes

  • You will engage with technology-active companies to understand their development objectives and drivers, analysing complex project information to assess eligibility for government support

  • Prepare detailed work papers and reports to help deliver exceptional results to EY’s clients

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Genuine interest in innovation and technology

  • Experience with government incentives and interest/experience in writing technical reports

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as relationship building and ability to articulate complex information to clients across a broad range of industries

  • Ability to work with complex and detailed information, including problem solving and numerical skills

  • Interest in networking to build enduring trusted relationships with EY colleagues and clients

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Previous work experience, ideally working in industry or business client-facing context

  • Experience in leading a team of talented individuals

  • Experience in the delivery of various grant applications associated with a broad range of client types from SMEs through to large multi-nationals

The preferred applicant will be subject to employment screening by EY or by their external third party provider. Regarding this role, the minimum salary is $140,000 including 9.5% superannuation.
