The CCM developer designs documents and business forms. Hands-on experience with any CCM tool, fragments, tables, shared content, overlays, and other design objects. Generate, print and electronic outputs, performs unit testing of templates and uses output comparison tools to compare different outputs.
The CCM Developer is responsible for leading and people managing the developers in Consumer Experience’s, Personalized Print and/or Digital space. The role will work as part of a team to leverage technical expertise and functional knowledge to create innovative and effective personalized communication solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
The CCM Developer is a document composition expert, able to work on moderately complex software development projects. This role involves leading a team of Developers in managing and designing dynamic, interactive templates, building scaler workflows and processing data to create customized digital documents. Responsibilities include:
Ability to create and design complex forms based on business specifications
Ability to deliver end-to-end print application solutions
Skills and attributes for success
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Ability to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills a plus
To qualify for the role, you must have
1-3 years of experience in creating digital communications using SmartCOMM, Opentext Exstream or other document management solutions
Hands-on experience with Document/Template, Layout, Assembly Rules, Style sets, Scripts, Overlays, Choice Lists, Script Libraries, Shared Contents, and Enclosures
Handling page components, text boxes, tables, flow frames, logos, pictures, shapes, colors, relative positioning, headers and flow headers.
Understanding of different input, output file formats, and Print file formats (PostScript, PDF, and PCL etc.)
Experience working with formulae variables and rules such as document and page triggering rules
Knowledge in batch config and output processor, job scheduler and application workflows
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot diagnostic logs
Ideally, you’ll also have
Working knowledge of Interactive forms, Integration with Insurance suite, metadata handling for Archival
Create different Layouts for each output channels based on requirements
Knowledge of performance handling industry best practices in Document Management.
Ability to design and develop simple to complex documents/pages/tables in both High Volume & On-Demand Application
Implementing barcodes, QR codes and integrating with printers
Ability to debug, print and email dynamic content, create responsive design and other integration challenges
Cloud platform experience preferred
