An experienced marketing professional is required to join our Energy BMC team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of working in a global, highly matrixed organisation. This role will work closely with BMC Leadership to develop, implement and manage both go-to-market and internal engagement campaigns and programs that build brand, reputation, relationships and engage our people.
The role focuses on supporting, promoting and enhancing EY’s services and solutions to the Canadian Energy market and regionally in Alberta and Saskatchewan, along with additional national BMC initiatives as required.
The successful candidate must be an organised self-starter with qualifications in marketing or a related discipline and have strong marketing experience in a B2B or professional services marketing environment. In addition, the candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and campaign management experience and be able to work part of a team. People skills are essential to ensure successful relationships are developed with a broad cross-section of internal and external stakeholders.
In your role as a Marketing Manager you’ll:
Drive integrated BMC multifaceted campaign, brand plans and events including managing project budgets and reporting on campaign return on investment (ROI) within allocated timeframes.
Provide strategic advice and counsel to leadership on communications and branding strategies, internal engagement best practices and more.
Lead local campaigns and projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and execution of strategy from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
Help plan and develop branding and communications that drive marketing programs, such as thought leadership, advertising copy, drafting client invitations, webpages and digital content.
Project manage strategic sponsorships or alliances that enable EY to position our brand as number 1 in the market and underpin our purpose of building a better working world.
Manage a team of direct reports, empowering team members to support the full marketing mix, including large-scale brand activation programs, sponsorships, speaking engagements, hosted events, PR, social media and thought leadership, internal engagement, sector marketing and corporate responsibility to ensure tactics are aligned and consistent with market segment goals.
Support the BMC transformation by implementing process improvement and designing support models to drive efficiencies through our marketing programs.
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
7+ years of integrated marketing experience
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or public relations
B2B financial services or professional services marketing experience highly preferred
First-class communication skills - excellent written and oral communications (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills
Project management and budget management is essential
Proven ability to work cross functionally, and strong track record of developing and implementing high profile events
Cross border teaming experience essential
Ability to be self-motivated, solution focused, and experienced at managing internal and external client relationships
