The opportunity

As a member of our Canberra Supply Chain and Operations team, you will work with us to transform our clients’ procurement processes and optimise their operations.Areas of procurement focus include:

  • Procurement strategy and planning

  • Digital/online procurement

  • Tender evaluation, including data rooms and the competitive dialogue process

  • Procurement evaluation

Our clients are mostly government organisations so you need to be an Australian citizen and also be eligible to gain a security clearance for this role.

Are you the person we are looking you?

Are you a passionate professional who naturally demonstrates the enthusiasm and ability to solve the most complex procurement problems?

  • We are looking for highly motivated self-starters and strong team players at the Consultant and Senior Consultant level, people who like to challenge themselves, find an ever-changing work environment inspiring, can think innovatively and strategically but enjoy working on the detail to get the job done.

  • Ideally you have 1-6 years’ work experience gained either from working in the public sector or private sector on major procurement initiatives or through supporting government clients work through their procurement challenges as a consultant (experience that goes beyond just the transactional).

  • If you have no procurement experience, you may also fit the bill if you have a strong interest in procurement frameworks and have work experience in an area which can demonstrate your suitability as an advisory consultant.

  • Good problem solving, communication and numeracy skills are essential.

  • An appreciation of the legal frameworks involved in government procurement would be highly desirable, but not essential.
