As a PAS Consultant or Senior Consultant based in Canberra, you will work almost exclusively with Australian Government clients to help them maximise their most important workforce asset – people. Working in a networked, high-performing team that delivers exceptional client service, you will help our client’s serve the Australian public. This may include organisational transformation, workforce planning, cultural and behavioural change, governance and HR strategy and data analytics.
Your key responsibilities
In your role you will:
Create innovative insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit project needs
Help clients reshape how they operate and build capability
Build client networks and relationships
Use your knowledge and experience to shape our services to meet client problems
Work on challenging projects across a diverse range of issues
Skills and attributes for success
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in complex and dynamic environments. We are looking for people with diverse backgrounds in consulting or Government with strong interpersonal skills.
To qualify for the role you must have
Between 1-3 year’s experience working in organisational design, workforce planning, talent management and large scale organisational transformation space;
Government and/or a consulting background;
Ability to learn and apply new concepts rapidly;
Strong stakeholder engagement skills;
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal);
Proven quantitative and qualitative analysis skills;
Advanced Microsoft Office skills; and
A current Australian Government security clearance is preferred, but not essential.
To be eligible for this role you also must be an Australian Citizen for government security clearance purposes.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insight
Ability to apply core consulting and project management skills
Strong report writing skills
