Description of Role:

  • To performing statutory audits for the Assurance Team for their year end audits & drafting of Factual Findings Reports.

  • To perform company secretarial duties for local and international clients and knowledge of the South African Companies Act and Companies Regulations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate secretarial compliance as relating to new company registrations, annual compliance/annual returns/amendments to Company records at CIPC

  • Assistance to the audit team to perform the statutory audit as part of the annual audit of an entity

  • Effective communication with client base

  • Minute taking support and duties related thereto;

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of one to two years working experience in a corporate office environment with company secretarial exposure

  • CIS or equivalent would be an advantage

  • Must be computer literate with good skills in Excel and conversant with Office.

  • Candidate must be self driven and a proactive thinker

  • Attention to detail and accurate capturing is a pre-requisite

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) is of high importance

  • Must be able to cope and work under pressure

  • Must be a self starter who is deadline driven and be able to find solutions to work related matters

  • Must be willing to take instructions and be trained and work together as a team member.
