EY advises clients to understand, architect, select and implement digital technology. We are looking to grow our team in a variety of areas, including the Front-End Development space.
This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and continue to develop your skillset to build customer and employee facing experiences for our top tier brand clients. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients’ team taking their experiences and creative designs and making them come to life. If you enjoy working on difficult interactive experiences and finding new ways to leverage modern frameworks (i.e. ReactJS), then we want to speak with you.
You will team with EY and Client’s creative groups to build pixel perfect, smooth responsive UIs that will be used across multiple devices. As you create these new experiences, you will be challenged to find solutions on how to create a repository of reusable features and libraries that will accelerate the delivery of the experience.
In addition to your role as a developer, you will have the opportunity to explore other digital capabilities to build and deploy customer and employee experiences across multiple platforms (i.e. Adobe, Microsoft) or custom single page applications. Ideally, you will be expected to be able to consult with clients and provide scalable and repeatable solutions for various experiences.
Skills and attributesfor success
Bachelor’s degree required,preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technicalbackground
Knowledge of human-computerinteraction design and leading practices
Experience with integrating withREST / APIs (retail specifically) and microservices
Experience with unittesting of UI (automation of testing desirable)
Knowledge of front-end securitybest practices
Understanding of devops/ code versioning tools (i.e. GIT, Bitbucket, etc)
Ability to consult ondigital/web marketing technology and evaluate clients technical ecosystemagainst best practices
Strong written andverbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writingskills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing andintegrating enterprise business processes with technology skills
Collaborating with team membersin developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view,thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the market
To qualify for the role,you must have
A bachelor's degree andapproximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree andapproximately 4 years of related work experience
A degree in computer science,engineering, accounting, finance or a related field
Valid driver's license in the US and must also be willing and able totravel up to 20%
Ideally, you’ll alsohave
- Experience developing for web, mobile andtablet platforms
