Your key responsibilities

As wavespace Experience Designer, you will be involved in bespoke and repeatable projects delivered to a diverse roster of clients.

  • Work with the Experience Leader/Manager to define strategy and design for customer experience

  • Collaborate with the Experience team to devise strategic solutions based on multiple forms of research and analysis

  • Support clients in the use of collaboration software being used in the client experience

  • Offer ideas on how to approach client challenges including industry trends and user experience

  • Communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to all audiences using sketches, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and/or data visualizations

  • Take a collaborative approach to work, with motivation to develop your skills by taking ownership of new challenges and have a genuine interest in solving complex business problems

  • Help lead workshops with clients to understand needs, articulate vision, and support design strategies and experiences that meet their vision and needs

What we look for

  • Pursuing a MBA/ Masters in Desig n and approximately 3-7 years of prior work experience , related to digital strategy, transformation and/or customer experience design (preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated ability working in an agile environment in a complex digital organization with a focus on design strategy, experience design, large scale transformation, and operating model design)

  • Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency in design-thinking methodology and approach

  • Professional or high-level education experience with multi/specific design field(s) – visual, interaction, industrial, digital, etc.

  • Excellent presentation skills, the ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to all audiences using sketches, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and/or data visualizations

  • The ability to help lead workshops with clients to understand needs, articulate vision, and help design strategies and experiences that meet their vision and needs

  • A willingness and ability to travel up to 80% to client sites

  • A driver’s license valid in the U.S.
