Join our Risk Management team and help protect EY from risks that arise from its professional services. Risk Management teams provide coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, regulatory and risk management issues, as well as supporting our people in managing the risks that arise in our daily working lives.

The opportunity

This position offers tremendous learning opportunities and career potential to the right individual. As an Intern supporting the Independence team, you would be involved in assisting our retired partners’ independence team, with an opportunity to work on other Independence-related projects as needed.

Your key responsibilities

  • Interact with team members to complete projects and acquire subject matter knowledge

  • Attend internal and/or external meetings to gain an understanding of the client needs

  • Learn and use EY technology tools to contribute to the team’s project work

  • Use Microsoft technology suite of products to develop spreadsheets, PowerPoint and/or Word documents

  • Take direction from others to enable independent work on assignments; report back as needed, to produce quality results

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical, teamwork, and organizational skills

  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm in the performance of responsibilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Project management skills to successfully handle multiple projects and initiatives concurrently

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline

  • GPA of 3.0 or above

What we offer

The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $22.00/hr to $30.00/hr. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
