As a senior you will help clients address a range of issues that are associated with reward strategies, talent programs and maintaining workforce effectiveness. Your key responsibilities
You will work on multiple reward projects delivering quality client service and providing flexible and innovative reward solutions. You will also be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into and lead new teams, and rapidly establish relationships. You’ll be generating profitable revenue by identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients.
Skills and attributes for success
Experience FAS 106 retiree medical valuations, redesign health and welfare plans, pre-merger due diligence, post-merger integration, and the development of paid time-off programs
Experience with implementation of strategies to manage health and welfare costs
Experience with vendor selection and management
Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns
Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's degree with a concentration in mathematics or business
Around two to three years of related health and welfare experience with valuation, preferably in a professional services environment
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
Ability to build client relationships and manage expectations
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Member of American Academy of Actuaries, ASA-FSA preferred or close to obtaining

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $72,100 to $147,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $86,500 to $167,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
